Palmah who?
Our adventure began at Falls Festival in Byron Bay. With only pennies in their pockets, two surf bums were unable to afford trendy outfits necessary for such a gathering.
"Shit. What should we do?" said one to the other... The broke kiwi's decided to do what broke kiwi's do best in the form of some backyard d.i.y. A can of paint and a couple of op-shop tees later, the boys got to business.
They fumbled and fooled around late into the evening, pottering and playing like kindergarten kids first introduce to colour. Eventually and not surprisingly, considering their lack of artistic talent, they ended up with what looked like a five year old's masterpiece in the form of an upside-down rainbow smiley face adhered to the straggly fabric. Somewhat proud, but mostly too lazy to attempt again, the boys headed off to the festy in their new offbeat attire.
Throughout the festy, the boys were constantly approached and quizzed by other attendees. Many friends were made thanks to their weird and cheerful positive threads. After the concert, the boys realised that those t shirts had lead them to encounter some of the funkiest human beings they'd ever met and contributed to one of the funnest weekends of their lives.
They then realised that those tees could help spark many more happy encounters for many more happy humans. It was here they created Palmah, a company for people who live life less seriously, and enjoy life's moments as they float on by.
Hope you enjoy
